I'm taking part in Steps for Lymphoma
Lymphoma Australia is the only organisation in Australia dedicated and committed solely to patients and caregivers dealing with lymphoma and CLL.
This March, alongside a community of like-minded individuals, every step I take contributes to the collective steps for the Lymphoma goal, aiming to complete a loop around Australia. By doing so, we express solidarity with and provide support to Australians facing the challenges of living with Lymphoma.
The extensive journey along the Australian coastline spans a total of 30,400,000 steps. Each step I take this March brings us closer to achieving the overarching goal. I invite you to support me on this journey in any way possible, knowing that your support directly impacts Australians navigating the complexities of Lymphoma.

When life throws you a curveball!
Friday 19th Jan As many of you know my husband Michael was diagnosed in June 2023 with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was complicated trying to get a diagnosis, involved a number of procedures and ultimately a two and half week stay in the Launceston General Hospital as the lymphoma was driving another condition called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocystosis(or HLH which is rare) which impacted his liver function. He has a brilliant haematologist, Dr Usi looking after him in Launceston. the hospital staff on 5D at the LGH were amazing! We owe Michael's life to them. We can't speak highly enough of the doctors and nursing staff who have looked after him at the LGH and now Specialist Care Australia in Launceston where he has undertaken chemotherapy treatment for HL as an outpatient. We are very lucky to have such amazing and wonderful medical professionals in our city. This has been a journey for us (and still continues to be), so this is me trying to do my little bit to raise vital funds and awareness. My aim is walk 10,000 steps every day in March and raise $3100. Any support you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lou Share
