How it works

The journey around the Australian coastline encompasses 30,400,000 steps - yep, that's 30 million and some!

Throughout March, each step you take brings us closer to completing our symbolic lap around Australia, stepping in solidarity with and supporting Australians living with Lymphoma.

Whether you choose to walk 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000+ steps a day, the decision is yours.

You will receive a Steps for Lymphoma fundraising page upon registering for free. This page becomes your tool to track your daily steps and raise funds. Every step you record contributes in real-time to the Steps for Lymphoma map, steadily advancing us toward the goal of lapping Australia.

Check back on the 1 March when our interactive map will go live. Follow the map as we STEP around this wonderful country virtually!

The first 500 people to reach $100 on their fundraising page will receive a Lymphoma Australia fundraising T-shirt to wear with pride.

Your Impact

Meet Monika

In early 2023, Monika was diagnosed with a rare form of Lymphoma called Diffuse Follicular Lymphoma.

Monika is keen to get back to living life after a long and challenging year of enduring surgery, radiation, and immune therapy.

She is joining STEPS for Lymphoma to help raise awareness and vital funds to support other patients.

"I went through a very low point where I grieved for a future I may not have. I have five children and wondered if I’d be there for their weddings, children etc. I felt like my life would never have the same level of happiness or hope again.

I called the lymphoma nurses at Lymphoma Australia, and they ended up being not only a wealth of information but also an amazing emotional support. They were able to explain things and fill in the gaps when needed. I am truly grateful for their support.”
