This March I’m taking part in Steps for Lymphoma alongside our kids & my family in honour of our Adrian who fought a brave 3yr battle with NK/T Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ady was a 45yr old Father, Husband & Friend who is missed dearly🤍

My husband Adrian fought a brave courageous 3 year battle with NK/T Cell Lymphoma. My husband was just like you reading this, he was a healthy carefree 42 year old man when he suddenly became ill. This is not something we ever thought would happen to us but the sad reality is, 20 Australians are diagnosed daily with Lymphoma and most are diagnosed at stage 3 and 4 as there can be little to no symptoms with 4 Australians losing their life to Lymphoma daily. 

We also decided to take part in this for my dear friend who has just been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma. A 45 year old mother, wife and friend whose life has completely just been turned upside down. 

I know first hand how mentally, emotionally and financially draining a cancer diagnosis has on one’s family, it’s a long scary road with so much uncertainty. 

Anything we raise goes to Lymphoma Australia to support families going through this nightmare. 

With no way to prevent or screen for lymphoma, it’s crucially important that Australians are able to identify lymphoma symptoms to enable earlier diagnosis and access to treatment. ❤️🤍

This March, alongside a community of like-minded individuals, every step I take contributes to the collective steps for the Lymphoma goal, aiming to complete a loop around Australia. By doing so, we express solidarity with and provide support to Australians facing the challenges of living with Lymphoma.

The extensive journey along the Australian coastline spans a total of 30,400,000 steps. Each step I take this March brings us closer to achieving the overarching goal. I invite you to support me on this journey in any way possible, knowing that your support directly impacts Australians navigating the complexities of Lymphoma.
